It was an emotional occasion.
The Healing for the Heartland: Relief Benefit Concert held in Okalahoma on Wednesday night saw country wonder-couple Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton perform to raise funds to help the Oklahoma tornado victims.
Lambert, who looked lovely in black lace, even broke down during her beautiful song, House That Built Me, which she dedicated to tornado displaced animals in shelters.
Oklahoma native Shelton kicked off the evening with a heartfelt performance of God Gave Me You.

He then launched the appeal to help those affected by the disaster.
Vince Gill, also from Oklahoma, began his set by announcing: 'It's sure good to be home. I'd like to do this song for 24 people that didn't make it,' and launched into Threaten Me With Heaven.
Then Voice co-judges Shelton and Usher, teamed up on Michael Buble's Home, Reba Mcentire also performed, as did Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker and Rascal Flatts.

It was undoubtedly the poignancy of the night's purpose that saw Miranda lose her composure, but the singer has had to deal with persistent rumours that Shelton has cheated on her.
So persistent, in fact, that the 36-year-old Voice judge has been forced to come our and deny them.
Shelton insists he has 'nothing to hide' from the country singer.
Flaming brilliant: Red-head Reba McEntire went down well the crowd
All for a good cause: Usher was happy to put work in for the fund
He said 'there are no secrets' in his relationship and that he allows his wife to go through his 'phone, computer and drawers' in the latest issue of People.Recent reports claimed that Blake had a month-long affair with pop country star Cady Grove after the pair flirted over Twitter.
Denial: Shelton has come out to silence cheating claims
But The Voice judge said he keeps nothing from his wife, and that their number one rule is total honesty.
Coming together for a good cause: Blake was also at the event
Leading the way: Blake told the audience how to donate
'[I tell Miranda]..."Here's my phone. Go through it,"' said The Voice judge. 'That's really the kind of trust we have. There are no secrets. [I'll say,] "Go dig through my drawers or my computer if you feel like you need to." And that's been a really good thing, because I don't want her to ever have any doubts.'
Reaction: Miranda's moving performance got Twitter buzzing
Blake also admitted that he would be jealous if he saw another man chatting up his blonde wife.
'I guarantee you, if I saw some guy flirting with my wife, it would p--- me off,' said Blake, who is wrapping season four of The Voice and getting ready for his Based On A True Story summer tour.
'Of course, I haven't seen a man brave enough to do that - mostly because I think they'd be afraid of her reaction.'
The couple, who have been married two years, try not to allow a couple of weeks to go by without seeing each other, but Blake said it isn't always easy to manage.Miranda, who has said before that 'divorce is not an option', has been flying out to Los Angeles to visit Blake while he shoots The Voice.
'We have no secrets': Shelton, pictured with wife Miranda in March in LA, said they have a policy of total honesty with one another in the latest issue of People
'She's been a lot better about finding me if I'm stuck in L.A. She'll always fly instead of going home, even if it's just a day or two,' he said.
'I can't express how important that's been to our relationship and why we're doing so good, because I'm the kind of guy who doesn't want to drive down a hill to go grocery shopping, much less fly across the country.'
But Blake has made romantic gestures of his own, including surprising her days before their May 14 anniversary at one of her shows. But not all his surprises go over too well. When he moved to L.A. he found a mansion, thinking small-town girl Miranda would be swept off her feet by the grandness of it. She wasn't.

'[I found[ this big-ass nice house with a pool,' he said. 'And the first time she ever came, she was like, "This is dumb. Why did you get a house this big?" And I was like, "I thought you'd like it!"'
The singer also admitted that the couple want to start trying for a baby soon.
Long distance: Blake said Miranda has been visiting him regularly in LA where he films The Voice
'I'm thinking about a family,' he said. His marriage has prepared him to take the next step, he said.
'Learning to not be selfish is what has changed in me the most since being married. I'm thinking on behalf of someone [else] now. Just like I hope she is doing with me.'
The other women? Blake was rumoured to be having an affair with singer Cady Groves, 23, pictured in Pennsylvania in March
